‘Very High’ wildfire risk in Rocky Mountain House Forest Area

The Rocky Mountain House Forest Area wildfire danger level has been set to ‘Very High,’ as of June 1.

At the time of writing, there are no fire bans in place in the Rocky Forest area. AlbertaFireBans.ca will show the latest if or when anything changes.

There is currently only one wildfire in the Rocky Mountain House Forest Area, and it has been deemed under control.

Since March 1, there have been 40 wildfires in the area burning just over 70 hectares, according to Alberta Wildfire. Seventeen wildfires are currently burning in Alberta, nine of which are under control, and there have been 444 across the province burning a total of 1,028 hectares.
