May 29, 2021 | 10:23 AM

Central Alberta Humane Society has a new executive director.

Eve Sira is taking over the position as of June 1, and brings with her an extensive professional portfolio.

That includes managing, marketing and development, as well as charitable fundraising for Trilliant Real Estate Group. Sira has also managed two national programs at Parkland Corporation, and was most recently a manager with Tickets Alberta where she worked during the 2019 Canada Winter Games.

“Being a strong community supporter and volunteer in central Alberta for many years, she has celebrated success in many facets of management as well as provided strong team leadership through many dynamic organizations throughout her career,” CAHS Interim Board Chair Chad Evans. “She is a proactive planner, experienced strategic thinker, and an inspirational leader whose passion and gravitas for the care and welfare of animals will provide a solid foundation for the Society’s operations and development moving forward.”
