Controlled burn in Lacombe on Sunday

A controlled burn is taking place Sunday in Lacombe.

“The Lacombe Fire Department, in conjunction with CP Rail, will be conducting the burn along the railway line adjacent to Highway 2A on May 30 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.” according to a release.

Residents may notice smoke but it will be kept to a minimum, the fire department says.
