Walmart stabbing suspect arrested

An arrest has been made in connection to a stabbing last weekend at the Walmart location in south Red Deer.
Red Deer RCMP say Raine William Gray, 24, is charged with aggravated assault and failure to comply with a release order.
Gray is accused in the May 22 incident where a loss prevention officer was stabbed three times after trying to apprehend someone they believed was shoplifting. His injuries were not serious.
Gray is scheduled to appear in Red Deer provincial court May 31.
