Man gone missing from Stettler Hospital could be in Red Deer

MAY 25 – Stettler RCMP advise that Darren Schmidt has been locate safe and unharmed.

Stettler RCMP are hoping the public can help locate a man who walked away from a local hospital.

Police say it was May 22 around 12:30 p.m. when Darren Schmidt was last seen leaving the Stettler Hospital.

Schmidt is declining health and hospital staff are concerned about his well being. He does not live at a specific residence and is likely to be living on the streets in Stettler or Red Deer, according to RCMP.
