Red Deer County Mayor proclaims “Economic Development Week”

Red Deer County is showing support by taking part in the 2021 Alberta Community Challenge.

This year, the Alberta Urban Municipalities Association and Rural Municipalities of Alberta have teamed up with Alberta Economic Developers to help amplify economic development efforts in the province by inviting communities to proclaim May 9 – 15 as Economic Development week.

“Mayor Jim Wood is pleased to acknowledge this important week and values the contribution of economic development in Red Deer County,” reads a release from the county.

International Economic Development Council is the largest professional economic development organization dedicated to serving economic developers.
