Fire Restriction Removed

Fire restriction lifted in Red Deer County

As of noon today, the fire restriction for Red Deer County has been lifted.

County officials say permits are now available online at rdcounty.ca/fire. Residents are asked to set-up their account to obtain their burn permit and then call 587-802-9978 to activate the permit.

Fire permits are required for all open fires within Red Deer County.

Fire Services will continue to monitor weather patterns- should hot and windy conditions return, another ban or restriction may be put in to place.
