Rocky residents have been challenged to prove who’s less driven

Residents of Rocky Mountain House have been challenged by Stettler, Ponoka and Wainwright to prove which town is less driven.

The upcoming Rocky Walk ‘n’ Roll is a friendly competition between the four towns in which residents will register how many destination they either walked or biked to, or “less driven” by vehicles.

It’s not the distance that’s being measured, its total trips. If you were to bike to the grocery store, then bike back home, that would be considered two trips. At which point you would register here to enter how many trips you’ve done, and your contact information.

Monthly prizes will be drawn each month for any participants.

The competition goes from May 1 to August 31.
