Red Deer RCMP responding to possible explosive device in Highland Green

UPDATE 9:21 p.m. – The RCMP Explosives Disposal Unit has conducted their investigation and has found no explosive devices in or around the vehicle in question at 103 Hermary Street. The scene was determined safe and has been reopened.

The Red Deer RCMP would like to thank the public for their patience and cooperate while the RCMP investigated this incident.

Red Deer RCMP are responding to a report of a possible explosive device in the parking lot of an apartment building at 103 Hermary Street.

The area has been contained, and public access has been blocked off.
