Search still on for two girls missing from Cochrane
Nearly three weeks after RCMP initially began a search for two young Cochrane girls, authorities say the investigation continues.
The RCMP Serious Crimes says it began investigating the disappearance of Leonine O’Driscoll-Zak, 5, and Wyatt O’Driscoll-Zak, 2, on March 13, a day after they were last seen.
They are believed to be in the company of their grandmother, Therese O’Driscoll, 68, and their aunt Alison O’Driscoll, 38, all from the Cochrane area.
An Amber Alert has never been issued as RCMP say it doesn’t meet the criteria. They said days later that it was believed the four had not left Canada, and that they are all still together.
