Red Deer RCMP seek help in identifying witness to dangerous driving incident

Red Deer RCMP are investigating a dangerous driving incident, and looking for a witness that was nearly struck by the suspect.

Between 9:45 and 10:00 a.m. on Mar. 21, police say a green GMC pickup truck was seen driving erratically along Spruce Drive, between 43 St and 37 St.

As the vehicle was heading southbound on Spruce Drive, it nearly hit a female cyclist along the road. An officer who was assisting at the time in locating the vehicle came upon the incident as it transpired. The officer asked the cyclist if she was okay before returning to the task of locating the suspect vehicle, and did not get her information.
