Murder charge laid in death of Bowden woman

A first degree murder charge has been laid in relation to the sudden death of a woman in Bowden.
Ross Arran McInnes, 27, of Bowden, was arrested on-scene at a local apartment on March 22 where a 25-year-old woman had been found dead.
McInnes has been remanded into custody to appear in Didsbury Provincial Court on March 29.
“The name of the deceased is not being released, and the RCMP requests on behalf of the family of the victim to afford them privacy during this difficult time,” an RCMP statement reads.
