Red Deer records 34th COVID death, active cases at 132
Red Deer has suffered another death stemming from COVID-19, bringing the city’s total to 34.
The latest death, a man in his 80s, occurred Monday (March 22) and is linked to the outbreak at Red Deer Regional Hospital Centre. Alberta Health says the case included comorbidities.
Red Deer’s active COVID-19 case count rose by eight on Tuesday to sit at 132. There have been 2,823 recoveries, an increase of seven as the total number of cases attributed to the city rose by 15 to 2,988.
