City’s online booking system down for repairs next week

The Intelli system, which is used for all recreation, parks and culture programming registration, scheduling, point of sale and memberships at The City of Red Deer, will be updated next week.

The update is expected to repair issues experienced since its implementation in 2018, and provide an improved user experience for customers and staff.

During the update process, customers will experience a brief service disruption. Look ‘n Book, The City’s online registration system, will be unavailable from Monday, March 22 at approximately 8:00 a.m. to Wednesday, March 24 at approximately 4 p.m.

The Intelli software system will be completely unavailable on Monday, March 22 from 8:00 a.m. to approximately 5:00 p.m. All transactions during this time will be unavailable online, in-person or over the phone including the following services:

• Program registrations
• Activity reservations
• Program withdrawals and refund processing
• Payments on outstanding account balances
• Access to customer accounts and updating customer information
• Facility bookings
• Wedding, picnic and garden plot bookings
• Transit pass sales
• Gift card sales
• Fee Assistance Program applications

These functions will resume on Tuesday and Wednesday over the phone only. Full function to the Look ‘n Book site and the Intelli software system will resume Wednesday afternoon.

Customers are encouraged to register for their desired activities on or before Sunday, March 21, by visiting https://looknbook.reddeer.ca/

Activity reservations and programming scheduled on Monday and for the remainder of the week will continue to be available for customers who have already reserved their sessions.
