Traffic delays expected on 49 Ave. and Gaetz Ave. bridges this week

Officials with the City of Red Deer say local drivers should expect delays at the 49 Avenue Bridge and Gaetz Avenue Bridge on March 18 and 19 as contractors replace streetlights on both bridges.

Temporary lane closures will take place during the project and motorists are reminded to slow down and obey all signs.

Officials note all road construction is weather dependent and schedules may be subject to change.
