Car hits median on QEII Highway near Innisfail

UPDATE (12:10 p.m.) – Innisfail RCMP ITU advise the collision scene has been cleared.  Traffic has resumed to normal. Police say there were no injuries sustained by the driver in the collision.

Innisfail RCMP Integrated Traffic Unit members are currently at the scene of a single-vehicle collision on the QEII south of Highway 54.

Police say a southbound car lost control and struck the centre median. The left southbound lane is currently blocked, with traffic only flowing southbound in the right-hand lane.
