Red Deer sees another COVID death, active cases down to 161
For the second time in as many days, Red Deer has recorded another death attributed to COVID-19.
The latest death, a woman in her 80, occurred on March 8. The case included comorbidities.
Meantime, the city’s active case count continues to go down with 161 as of Wednesday, down 34 over the last 24 hours and Red Deer’s lowest total since 161 cases were reported Jan. 26.
There have been 2,673 COVID-19 recoveries in Red Deer, an increase of 12 as the total number of cases attributed to the city rose by 11 to 2,865.
