"unemployed hockey coach" steps into the big house

Red Deer man to compete as houseguest on Big Brother Canada

A Red Deer man has been selected as one of the house guests for the latest season of Big Brother Canada.

Kyle Moore is a 26-year-old unemployed hockey coach who was picked out to share a house with 13 other competitors in the ninth season of the Global reality television show.

“2020 has been a wreck. I live with my parents, I got no job, and I got no money,” lamented Moore in his video bio.

Given this the opportunity for Moore to compete in a reality show for a grand prize of $100,000 is a big one.

“I think I was chosen because I am a charismatic and athletic guy, who loves taking risks and has lived an interesting life,” said Moore. “My strategy is to be likable and develop connections with everyone in the house. I want to find that one ride-or-die houseguest and stay true to that alliance. I also want to dominate in the competitions.”

Moore compares being on Big Brother to being on a hockey team.

“You’re going to have people you hate, and people you love.”

Moore said there will be paranoia from not knowing who to trust in the household, but wants to stay true to himself.

The latest edition of Big Brother Canada has an eclectic cast with diverse backgrounds from across Canada. The house will be divided into two teams, with online voting deciding on night one who the team captains will be.

The latest season of Big Brother Canada begins this Wednesday at 7 p.m. MT on Global TV.
