Diesel tanker hits ditch near Three Hills

Police say a tanker truck carrying diesel has crashed south of Three Hills and traffic will be diverted for several hours as a result.

Three Hills RCMP says they responded to the single-vehicle collision early this morning on Highway 21 near Township Road 314.

Mounties say a semi-tractor with two tankers carrying diesel was travelling northbound on Highway 21 when it lost traction, causing the second tanker to slide off the road into the ditch and flip.

Traffic will be diverted for the next several hours while the scene is cleaned up. Northbound traffic is being diverted at Township Road 314. Southbound traffic is being diverted at Highway 583.
