Fall and winter rentals available for recreation spaces, community spaces, pools

The City of Red Deer says bBooking applications are now being accepted for groups wanting to book the city’s recreation spaces, pools and community spaces for the upcoming fall and winter 2021-2022 season.

“While the current public health environment may be uncertain, we hope to have the ability to host user groups more actively in our recreation and culture spaces this fall and winter,” the city says in a release.

“Community associations, sport groups, companies, and the public are encouraged to request their meetings, league spaces and special events.”

The following spaces and facilities are available:

– Pools at the Recreation Centre and Michener Aquatic Centre

Prevention, Access, Recovery, and Coordination

– Meeting Rooms & Special Events at the Collicutt Centre, G. H. Dawe Community Centre, Recreation Centre, Former Intermediate School (Culture Services), Servus Arena, Kinsmen Community Arenas, and Setter’s Place at Great Chief Park.

– Dry Space at the Collicutt Centre Field House & Soccer Pavilion, G.H Dawe Community Centre Gymnasium, Michener Aquatic Centre Gymnasium and Former Intermediate School (Culture Services) Omni Space.

– Ice at the Collicutt Centre, Servus Arena, Kinex Arena, Kinsmen Community Arenas, and Setter’s Place at Great Chief Park.
