EDMONTON – Alberta’s police watchdog says an RCMP officer has been charged in a sexual assault of a woman in Edmonton.
The Alberta Serious Incident Response Team says in a news release that it was directed to investigate the alleged assault last February.
It says Cpl. Kire Kondoski and the woman had been involved in a relationship.
The investigation found they were alone at the woman’s home sometime between July 30 and Sept. 3, 2018, while Kondoski was off duty.
