The Red Deer Arts Council is pleased to announce the 2021 launch of an award for Emerging Artists, supporting and encouraging promising artists, early in their careers, while raising the profile of the Arts by stimulating, developing, and promoting creativity in Red Deer and Central Alberta. Artists of all genres are encouraged to apply.
Criteria for artists, appraisal, and application forms are now available and can be downloaded from our website.
Deadline for receipt of completed applications is March annually.
The funds for this award are the result of the Legacy Fund from the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Distinguished Arts Awards held in June 2013 in Red Deer.
