Applications open for Red Deer Arts Council scholarships

The Red Deer Arts Council is excited to announce that applications are now being accepted for the Princess Margaret Scholarship, Centennial Scholarships, Waskasoo Bluegrass Music Scholarship and the RDC Music Society Scholarship.

These scholarships are variously aimed at secondary and post-secondary students and are intended to support and encourage promising young artists in their continued development, while also serving to raise the arts profile in Red Deer and surrounding areas by stimulating, developing, and promoting the arts.

The residential boundaries for eligibility range north to Ponoka, east to Stettler, south to Olds, and west to Rocky Mountain House.

Artists of all genres are encouraged to apply.

Updated criteria for student artists and application forms are now available from the office or can be downloaded from our website.
