HINTON – RCMP continue to seek the public’s assistance in the disappearance of 40-year-old Robert Allen Wetsch, who was last seen in Hinton, Alberta on May 19, 2019.

Police say updated information in December 2019 indicated he may potentially be in British Columbia.

Hinton RCMP, along with Wetsch’s family, are requesting anyone who may have been in contact with him or have any knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.

“It is not like him at all to have no contact, so he may not be in a proper state of mind to do so. If anything has happened to him, I just want to know any and all information. If anyone knows anything, please reach out so that I can know where my son is,” pleads his mother, Bonnie.

Hinton RCMP have been unable to locate him despite extensive searches in the Hinton area with both air and ground coverage in June and November of 2019.

Robert Allen Wetsch is described as:

· Caucasian male

· 6′ tall

· 170 lbs

· Brown hair

· Hazel eyes.
