Red Deer hits 10 deaths from COVID-19
Ten people in Red Deer have now died because of COVID-19.
The latest death was reported on Sunday and is one of just 12 more fatalities reported province-wide for a pandemic total of 1,284. The dozen deaths occurred between Jan. 1-9, but were recorded in the past day.
Red Deer also added 12 new cases of coronavirus for a grand total of 1,619.
Recoveries in the city total 1,367, up 33, knocking active cases down to 242, the lowest active case count since Nov. 30.
