Santa cruises through Sylvan Lake

The COVID-19 pandemic couldn’t keep Santa Claus from paying a special visit to Sylvan Lake.

After the Town of Sylvan Lake cancelled its annual Santa Parade at the end of November, several community members got together to ensure the big guy dressed in red still was still able to make a special cruise through town.

The result was a bright and cheery convoy that passed through the streets of town Tuesday night.

Sources tell rdnewsNOW that Santa made it back to the North Pole safely after the parade and is looking forward to returning to Sylvan Lake very, very soon.
