Maskwacis RCMP investigating woman’s death

RCMP in Maskwacis are investigating the sudden death of a 47-year-old woman that occurred last week.

It was at about at 1:51 p.m. on Dec. 9 when officers responded to assist EMS at a call for service on the Ermineskin Cree Nation.

Police say a female was found deceased inside a residence and that the Major Crimes Unit was called in to assist in the investigation.

RCMP investigators examined the residence and the collection of witness evidence, video canvass and neighbourhood inquiries are ongoing.
