Dr. Hinshaw shares COVID-19 update for Dec. 16

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is set to provide her latest update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak during a news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. You can watch the news conference below once it begins.

Alberta reported another 1,341 new cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday out of 16,353 test results over the past 24 hours for a positivity rate of 8.2 per cent.

The number of active cases in the province sat at 20,649 as of Tuesday.
