TELUS recently presented a cheque to the Boys and Girls Club of Red Deer in the amount of $5,000.

This was made possible by TELUS team members and retirees through the TELUS Payday Lottery Committee donation/sponsorship fund. These funds will be used to enhance security at the North Hill Club and in support of the Keystone rural Youth Leadership program.

“TELUS is a company that measures success through profitable returns and through the contributions of our people, resources, technology and expertise that help make our communities better places to live. We have the ability and responsibility to influence the quality of life in our communities and encourage others to become community leaders,” said Gail Ovelson, TELUS Payday Lottery Committee.

“Thank you to our incredible friends at TELUS for your contribution in support of the Boys and Girls Club. The investment of TELUS in bettering the communities we live impacts so many and speaks volumes of their role as a leading corporate citizen,” replied Rob Lewis, Executive Director, Youth HQ.
