Dr. Hinshaw shares COVID-19 update for Dec. 1

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is set to provide her latest update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak during a news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. You can watch the news conference below once it begins.

Alberta set another one-day record on Monday for new COVID-19 cases at 1,733.

There are 453 people in hospital, 96 of them in intensive care.

541 Albertans have died from COVID-19.

Red Deer had a record 236 active cases as of Monday.
