Town of Innisfail appoints new Community Services Director
Officials with the Town of Innisfail have announced the hiring of a new Community Services Director.
With the intent of ensuring the quality provision of community services, the previously vacant position has now been filled by Meghan Jenkins — previously the Town’s Manager of Planning & Sustainability. Jenkins assumed the role on Nov. 16.
“The move leverages Meghan’s demonstrated skills and leadership, and aligns with the Town’s commitment to ensuring organizational effectiveness and efficiency both in light of pandemic-related realities and otherwise,” said Chief Administrative Officer Todd Becker, in a press release. “Meghan’s ability to lead while taking on tasks of immense importance will be a tremendous complement to the role, and make her an exceptional addition to the Town’s Senior Leadership Team.”
Jenkins’ role will see her provide supervisory oversight for a number of Town functions, including Planning & Development, Recreation, Family & Community Support Services (FCSS) and Sustainability.
