A man awaiting trial for second-degree murder was arrested yet again in Red Deer last week.

This time, Quentin Strawberry, who was wanted on outstanding warrants at the time, was arrested for allegedly threatening individuals in a residence.

Members of the Red Deer RCMP responded to the Riverside Meadows neighbourhood on Nov.8 and took the 39-year-old O’Chiese First Nation resident into custody without incident.

Strawberry faces a total of 13 new charges in relation to these events, which include several gun-related charges, uttering threats and failing to appear.
