RCMP investigating firearms complaint in Eastview neighbourhood

A large Red Deer RCMP presence turned out to the Eastview neighbourhood Saturday afternoon in response to a firearms complaint.
Police responded just after 12:20 p.m. to a 911 call in the area of 38 Avenue and 45 Street and arrested a 26-year-old male.
RCMP continue to investigate but believe the incident was an isolated occurrence. They say there is no further risk to the public.
