Kenney to address Alberta’s COVID-19 situation
After Alberta reported a new daily record of about 800 new cases on Thursday, Premier Jason Kenney is set to discuss the province’s COVID-19 situation.
Kenney will join Dr. Deena Hinshaw, Alberta’s chief medical officer of health, at a news conference scheduled for 3:30 this afternoon. You will be able to watch it live here once it begins.
Hinshaw said Thursday that new public health restrictions may be on the way in light of the ‘extremely disturbing’ rise in cases across the province.
