· Terrance Currie-Trimming – Instrumentation and Control Technician, St. Dominic Catholic High School

· Anthony Stewart – Automotive Service Technician, St. Dominic Catholic High School

This event is to honour high school students from across the province who have extraordinary dedication and drive to their trades.

“We are excited to celebrate this amazing achievement. The focus and dedication these students have on their future careers is outstanding. I was blessed to be part of this virtual event where we can recognize the achievement of these individuals and the bright futures that lay ahead of them,” said Superintendent, Kathleen Finnigan at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.

“The opportunity for students to enter the skilled trades while in high school and experience authentic learning opportunities is invaluable and cannot be replicated without our valued community business partners. We, along with our students, are so grateful to them for providing these rich developmental environments. The scholarships awarded help young apprentices pay for tools, ongoing technical training and other expenses that they incur,” said Dual Credit and Off-Campus Divisional Lead Teacher, Tracey Millar at Red Deer Catholic Regional Schools.
