Âsokêwin Friendship Centre and Burden Bearers offering free counselling sessions
In an effort to help those struggling in the community, Burden Bearers Counselling Centre has teamed up with the Âsokêwin Friendship Centre to offer free counselling every Tuesday.
Âsokêwin Friendship Centre’s Executive Director Kirby Bigchild noted that they will be also working with FCSS so they can help get people connected to other community organizations.
Anyone seeking assistance with addiction, abuse, conflicts, anger, anxiety, depression, insecurities or other issues need only call either Bigchild at 403-429-1102 or Mari Lee at 403-804-8589.
“Call to book an appointment and tell us what you would like to talk about and the Burden Bearers Counseling Centre will send over the staff based on the clientele,” Bigchild said of how the program will work.
