Queer association holding Halloween Door Decorating Contest

Halloween may look a little different this year, but that will not stop the spirit of the spooky holiday.

Red Deerians and those from surrounding areas are encouraged to dress up their doorway for the Red Deer Queer Community Association’s (RDQCA) Halloween Door Decorating Contest.

To enter your decorated entryway, submit a photo of your door by tagging RDQCA on Facebook or Instagram, email the photo to reddeerqueercommunity@gmail.com, or post the photo on social media with the hashtag #RDQCAHalloween.

The contest is now open. Photo submissions are accepted until Oct. 31 at midnight.

Prizes for the contest include giftcards to several local businesses including Sunworks, Taco Loft, HamFist Ink, the B Nest Studios, several pieces of art and hand-crafted items.
