Dr. Hinshaw shares COVID-19 update for Oct. 20

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is set to provide her latest update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak during a news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. You can watch the news conference below once it begins.

Hinshaw’s latest update comes after the province announced 896 cases of COVID-19 were reported this past weekend (311 on Oct. 16,231 on Oct. 17, 356 on Oct. 18).

In Red Deer, the number of active cases as of Monday stands at 39.
