Canadian Blood Services appealing to Red Deerians as Thanksgiving approaches

Canadian Blood Services is encouraging residents of Red Deer to book an appointment to give blood to around Thanksgiving Day. Patients in hospitals are grateful for Canadians who take the time to donate blood, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Donations often decrease during long weekends. Travel and family activities make it challenging for people to find time to donate. But the demand for blood never stops.

Opportunities to donate at Canadian Blood Services Red Deer, #5, 5020 68 Street, around Thanksgiving are:

Tuesday–Thursday: 3 – 7 p.m.

Friday & Saturday: 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
