Sep 28, 2020 | 3:20 PM

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health will at home when she gives her latest update on the COVID-19 situation in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw shared on Twitter that she developed a sore throat over the weekend and tested negative for COVID-19, but will remain at home until her symptoms resolve.

“As I’ve said before, staying home while sick or experiencing mild symptoms is important. Especially as we head into influenza season, we can help protect our loved ones by staying home until all our symptoms are gone,” Hinshaw tweeted.

Health Minister Tyler Shandro will also be taking part in Monday’s update, which is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
