Airdrie RCMP receive parking lot surprise from local youth

AIRDRIE – One evening last week, two Airdrie RCMP officers walked out the back door of the detachment to go on a call.

To their surprise they found a group of teenagers in the parking lot. As this is not normal to see they quickly asked what they were doing. They were pleasantly surprised with the response.

These thoughtful kids were placing Tim Hortons gift cards under the wipers of the police cars. They said that this was their way to say thank you to the officers who protect them.

Officers did not get the names of these wonderful kids but we want them to know this generous act was very much appreciated.
