Lane closures on Ross Street due to construction
Red Deer drivers can expect traffic disruptions downtown on Ross Street and 48 Avenue between September 21 and 25 due to construction in the area.
City construction crews will be replacing three catch basins to resolve flooding issues at the intersection of Ross Street and 48 Avenue, resulting in intermittent lane closures on Ross Street and temporary road closures on 48 Avenue.
Construction is set to begin September 21 and is expected to be completed by the end of the week. A temporary gravel sidewalk will be in place until brickwork can be completed.
Drivers are asked to use caution when driving through construction zones and to obey all signs for both driver and worker safety.
