Sep 14, 2020 | 3:13 PM

Alberta’s chief medical officer of health is set to provide her latest update on COVID-19 in the province.

Dr. Deena Hinshaw will speak during a news conference scheduled for 3:30 p.m. You can watch the news conference below once it begins.

Hinshaw’s update comes as at least six schools across Alberta have been told they have outbreaks of COVID-19.

Alberta Health Services says that a southeast Calgary elementary school and a northeast Calgary high school were confirmed as outbreaks yesterday.

The notices were issued to parents of students at Auburn Bay School and Lester B. Pearson High School after two or more cases at each of the schools.

The other schools with outbreaks are Chinook High School in Lethbridge, Henry Wise Wood High School in Calgary, the daycare at Leo Nickerson school in St. Albert and St. Wilfred school in Calgary.

A single case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in an individual associated with Escuela Vista Grande in Red Deer.
