Red Deer RCMP are advising Friday evening that there is a heavy police presence in the city’s Clearview neighbourhood.

The presence is between 30 Avenue and Michener Avenue.

RCMP ask that people avoid the area, and to remain in your home if this is where you reside.

In a tweet, Alberta RCMP say they are executing a search warrant.

Multiple reports have come in to rdnewsNOW noting that the RCMP helicopter is in the area. It’s not been confirmed if its presence is related to the developing police incident.
