Oilers Foundation announces winning ticket number for Aug. 7 50/50

The Edmonton Oilers Foundation has finally announced a winning ticket number for its August 7 50/50 draw.

The draw, which took place the day of the Oilers final NHL qualifying round game versus Chicago, was originally dogged by technical glitches which led to many buyers being charged multiple times.

Refunds were given out to anybody who wanted one during the week of August 13.

The jackpot, which was originally $15.2 million, settled at $14.1 million.

On Friday, the foundation said the winning ticket number is: A-37051557
