Dr. Hinshaw to deliver COVID-19 update for Monday, Aug. 24

Dr. Deena Hinshaw, the province’s chief medical officer of health, will deliver an update on COVID-19 in Alberta on Monday afternoon, scheduled to start at 3:30.

As of Friday, Aug. 21, Alberta was reporting 1,144 active cases of COVID-19, 43 people in hospital, and 230 total deaths.

Central Zone had 30 active cases, with two people in hospital.
