Rocky and county residents can now report smaller crimes online

The Rocky Mountain House RCMP Detachment is now allowing Rocky and Clearwater County residents the new online crime reporting tool that is being rolled out across Alberta.

Any type of theft or damage-related incident under $5,000 can be reported through the new system.

By reporting in this manner you will only be contacted by a police officer if additional information is required.

The intentional submitting of a false police report will still be considered a criminal offence.

For emergencies, 911 should always be called first, but for any non-emergency call requiring a police officer phone 403-845-2881.
