Two suspects sought related to Innisfail armed robbery

Innisfail RCMP are seeking public assistance to identify a pair of suspects involved in an armed robbery.

Mounties say the incident occurred at the Innisfail Hotel’s Zoo Bar at around 11:15 p.m. on July 24.

Members responded to a 911 call of an armed robbery in progress where two males had entered the bar with weapons and demanded money.

The two men allegedly took an undisclosed amount of money and fled in a silver Chrysler 300 car, toward Red Deer. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident, police add.

“The RCMP welcome any information about this crime and encourages the public to report any information they may have that will lead to the arrest of these two men,” a release states.

Suspect #1 is described as:

· Skinny 5’7” – 5’8”

· Wearing a black mask

· White and black hoodie, white on top and bottom with black

· Possibly around 20 to 30-years-old

Suspect #2 is described as:

· Skinny

· Wearing a mask

· Wearing a jacket with a reflective stripe on the back

· Possibly around 20 to 30-years-old
