Illegal cigarettes lead to drugs and cash seizure in Red Deer

A Red Deer man is facing charges of possession for the purposes of trafficking after RCMP made an arrest last week.

Police were tipped off about a person selling illegal cigarettes at a Red Deer business.

A 43-year-old male from Red Deer was arrested on July 15 and remains in police custody with charges pending.

Police say the individual was found to be in possession of:

· 30,615 illegal cigarettes
