Rocky Mountain House man dies in overnight ATV crash

A man from Rocky Mountain House is dead following an overnight collision between two off-highway vehicles.

The head-on crash happened at about 1:15 a.m. near Highway 752 and Range Road 100A, about 35 kilometres west of Rocky in Clearwater County.

RCMP say the 27-year-old male drive of one of the ATVs was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.

The driver of the second ATV, a 42-year-old man, was flown to a Calgary area hospital via STARS. Police did not share the extent of his injuries.
